Today we’d like to introduce you to Lexi Rackley.
Hi Lexi, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Ever since I was a little girl I’ve wanted to “be friends” with princesses just like the girls who worked at the Disney parks. When I grew up I got used to the idea that maybe I just wasn’t meant to be a professional princess and I was okay with that. One day, a friend reached out to my mom in hopes that I had an Anna or Elsa costume laying around because the girls she had asked to perform at her daughter’s birthday had gotten sick and the party was in four days. Well, with a lot of prayer and the power of Amazon Prime, we were able to fulfill the birthday girl’s wish. I realized how much I enjoyed the excitement of creating even just a tad of magic for the kids at these events. Out of this love I created Once Upon A Fairytale.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The only struggle I’ve seemed to face is making sure our magic makers are available for events. The summer is a very popular time for our characters but we love it all. I’ve been very blessed to not have too many struggles on this journey but I’ve also received a lot of support which,I believe, has been the main reason this journey has been easy.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Once Upon A Fairytale is a small business that provides character entertainment for events. We are completely customizable, meaning that you can get any combination of characters, our magic makers bring a gift for birthdays, will sing their iconic songs, participate in what you choose, and come and go on your time.
Our magic makers work hard to bring wonder to the events that we attend and I’m so proud of their willingness to see a smile and hear laughter. They are gentle and kind and slip in to whatever role is thrown at them.
What sets us apart from most is our affordability. We’ve thought long and hard about our pricing to make sure it is fair on all ends.

I’ve been so lucky to have such a large support system. Without them I would have never gained the confidence to step out and create this business.
Pricing:
- $100 for 1 character (includes travel fee)
- $175 for 2 characters (includes travel fee)
- Additional $50 for each extra character
