Daily Inspiration: Meet Matthew Wireman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Matthew Wireman.

Matthew Wireman

Hi Matthew, I’m so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, how can you bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I have been in the Personal Growth and Professional Development space for twenty years. I started immediately after college, helping people discern their calling and how they can execute the goals that matter to them because they align with their purpose. I call this Integrated Coaching. , I help people align their minds, body, and soul in this paradigm. I entered this space out of necessity in my own life. I found that I had become successful within the circles I ran in but felt unfulfilled. I felt stuck. I started listening to self-development lectures and reading all the books, but I could not get enough. As I saw pronounced growth in my interior life, my relationships improved, and my professional goals became more apparent.

Would it have been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No road is smooth if you are trying to make a difference. By definition, when we develop and grow, we go against the inertia of our lack of clarity and the innumerable distractions in the world around us. One of my greatest struggles in my journey was understanding how habits are tools for freedom. They enable me to center myself and find an anchor when chaos and shiny object syndrome seek to pull me off my course. Another obstacle was the siren’s call of things being good enough. When you try to get better and have enjoyed success in a field, people will surprisingly scold you for not being happy with where you are. This needs to be more aligned. The goal is not to be content but to be the best version of who God created you to be. This is a life-long endeavor!

Thanks for sharing that. So, tell us more about your work next.
I am a Personal Growth and Professional Development Coach. I work with people to implement habits toward goals that align with who they want to be. Often, coaching can focus on the what and how of goal-setting. I focus on the why. Without a clear inner identity, it doesn’t matter how disciplined or successful someone is. It is only through integrated and aligned goals with our purpose that the magic happens!

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I am driven by a desire to genuinely help people with the things that matter most to them. My coaching first listens and asks questions to tailor-make goals suited to what my clients believe is most important to them and the legacy they want to leave on earth. I am persistent and willing to adjust my expectations and methods to serve my clients best.
