Hi Alex, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, let’s briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
My name is Alex Reavis, and I am the founder and operator of Celebrityz Barbershop. I opened the 1st Celebrityz location in 2015, 2018 I opened our 2nd location, and 2021 I opened our 3rd location. I currently have more than 25 barbers & stylists working in either 3 of shop. I have been a licensed barber for over 13 years. I first started cutting at the age of 13. Cutting hair is a passion of mine, I enjoy what I do, and I love creating businesses that help people pursue their dreams.
Let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
It most definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but tell me one road that is. The journey is expected as long as you are moving in a positive direction. I’ve dealt with many setbacks, but I have also managed to continue and persevere through any obstacle in my way. Struggle builds character; character keeps you humble.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was a quietly confident kid as I grew up. Sports like football and basketball were my thing back in school, but they only took me to that point. At the ripe age of 17, I embraced fatherhood, and my sole focus became ensuring my son’s well-being. I gracefully assumed the responsibilities of adulthood, bidding farewell to my childhood days but yet with an ambitious mindset. I set my footsteps in the direction of the barbering industry.
