Today we’d like to introduce you to Claire Frase.
Hi Claire, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I was born in 1996 and have been with the team ever since! My whole family was involved in the team as well. My mom was the announcer, dad president, and show director at times, and my brother and sisters skied. It was a massive part of our family’s lives. In 2014, I was lucky enough to be asked to ski professionally at Sea World San Antonio- followed by skiing for Team USA the same year. 2017, I spent my summer at Lego Land, Florida, skiing in a professional show. 2018, I got the ultimate opportunity to go international and ski in Japan for 3 months. Amazingly, such a small team in Tega Cay, SC, could take me on an incredible journey.
It wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Lots of struggles. Too many to list 🙂 The overall challenge was getting the team to a level we had never been on. I have been to tournaments for 20 years, learning what makes a good ski show. I used my experience from skiing with so many professional people and Team USA to bring it back to our small team in Tega Cay. We are on a level of professionalism that excites us and our crowds!
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
