Today we’d like to introduce you to Eddie Whittingham.
Hi Eddie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for sharing your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
My dream was always to own a small business, particularly a taproom since I have a passion for craft beer. The road to achieving this goal wasn’t easy, but I was determined to accomplish it. It all started over drinks with my wife and our very close friends. We joked about taproom names, our roles, and potential logos and eventually decided it was time to create a fun atmosphere right in the heart of downtown Simpsonville. There were many ups & downs throughout the process, but in the end, we were blessed to find a home to help create Clock Tower Taproom & Billiards. After months of hard work, we officially opened in early December of 2020, during the chaos of the COVID shutdowns. Grand Opening weekend was a hit, only to have our dreams crushed with an unfortunate fire about a week after opening. As disappointing as that experience was, we were more determined than ever to re-open and offer our town a fantastic spot to congregate and enjoy a fun night out. Fast forward to 2024, we recently celebrated our 3rd Anniversary, which wouldn’t be possible without the support of our local community, our notable regulars, and our family & friends. We would like you to join us for a fun night of Karaoke or dance the night away during one of our LIVE DJ performances. Remember, it’s always 5 O’clock at the Clock Tower!

For the past 15 years, I have worked in the Health Insurance industry, specifically as an Employee Benefits Consultant. I work with mid-large sized corporations by assisting them in marketing, servicing and consulting on all things related to Employee Benefits.
