Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey started right here in Cheraw, South Carolina, where I grew up with a natural love for music, creativity, and expressing myself. I started creating because music was always more than entertainment to me it was a way to connect, heal, inspire, and tell stories that people could feel.
Over the years, I’ve continued to develop not only as an artist, but also as a content creator, promoter, and entrepreneur. I’ve spent roughly a decade learning the business side of what I do, promoting myself, creating content, building relationships, and finding different ways to turn my creativity into something bigger.
I’ve evolved through different names and chapters, including KingKhiddo, before becoming YUNEEK. That evolution represents me growing into who I really am. Today, YUNEEK is about individuality, freedom, spirituality, and using my platform to spread positive energy through music and creativity. I’ve built my journey independently, reaching millions of streams and views while continuing to grow my audience and expand what I’m capable of. I’m still learning, still creating, and still pushing myself to reach new levels.. At this point in my journey, I’m focused on building a lasting legacy, not just being known as an artist, but being remembered as someone who inspired people, created opportunities, and used his gifts to make an impact. I truly know I’m just getting started.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ve had to learn how to keep going even when things didn’t move as quickly as I wanted them to. One of the biggest challenges has been building everything independently, creating the music, promoting myself, creating content, networking, and learning the business side while still trying to grow as an artist.

I’m an independent artist, content creator, and entrepreneur. I specialize in music, visual content, promotion, and creating experiences that connect with people. I’m known for being versatile, authentic, and unapologetically myself.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
My biggest advice is to be genuine, consistent, and willing to build real relationships. Don’t approach people only because of what they can do for you, focus on what you can bring to the relationship as well. For me, simply putting myself out there, promoting my work, meeting people, and staying connected has opened a lot of doors. I’ve learned that sometimes networking isn’t about finding one person to change your career; it’s about building a community of people who believe in what you’re creating.
