Meet Christeen Faucette of Christeen Faucette, Realtor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christeen Faucette.

Hi Christeen, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started in real estate eight years ago with just $2,000 in my bank account and a willingness to risk it all for a better life. I had spent most of my career in logistics before moving into customer support for a tech company, but I never felt truly fulfilled and I knew the traditional 9-to-5 wasn’t for me.

I had never been much of a risk-taker, so making the leap into real estate was easily the biggest risk of my life. It could have completely backfired, but I committed to making it work. I spent every day making calls, building relationships, and learning the business. Within my first month, I found my first client, and within two months, I secured my first listing. From there, the momentum continued.

About two years in, I began using Instagram more intentionally, and that’s when my business really took off. The platform introduced me to so many incredible people, many of whom I’ve now helped buy and sell multiple homes. Today, my business is built primarily on repeat clients and referrals, which is incredibly meaningful to me. Knowing that people trust me enough to work with me again, and recommend me to those they care about, is something I’ll never take for granted.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road! I entered real estate with no sales or marketing experience, so the learning curve was huge and there were certainly some tears in the beginning. I struggled with feeling like I should immediately know how to handle every possible situation, which, of course, was completely unreasonable. I put a lot of pressure on myself, but that also motivated me to learn as much as possible so I could confidently guide and advocate for my clients.

I also quickly realized that the traditional advice given to new agents- make endless cold calls and host as many open houses as possible- didn’t fit my personality. I wanted a more personal, authentic approach and hoped to work with clients who connected with me as a person. That’s where Instagram made such a meaningful difference. It gave me a way to share who I am, build genuine relationships, and grow a business that feels aligned with my personality and values.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Christeen Faucette, Realtor?
At the heart of my business, I help people buy and sell homes without making the experience feel intimidating, overly complicated, or transactional. Real estate is a huge financial decision, but it’s also an incredibly personal one and I never lose sight of that.

I’m known for being honest, approachable, and very invested in my clients. I’ll celebrate the wins with you, talk you off the ledge when things get stressful, and tell you the truth even when it’s not necessarily what you want to hear. If I think you should walk away from a house or wait until the timing is better, I’m going to say so. My goal is never just to close a deal; it’s to make sure you feel confident that you made the right decision.

What sets me apart is that I bring my actual personality into my business. I’m knowledgeable and professional, but I’m also real, relatable, and want to make sure you have fun along the way. Buying or selling a home can be stressful enough- you should be able to work with someone you genuinely like and trust!

I’m most proud that the brand I’ve built truly feels like me. Instagram has played a huge role in that because it allows people to get to know me before we ever meet. There’s no overly polished real estate persona or hard sales pitch- what you see is what you get.

The biggest compliment is that so much of my business now comes from repeat clients and referrals. Many of the people who initially found me online have gone on to buy or sell multiple homes with me and have sent their friends and family my way. I’ve built a business around genuine relationships, honest advice, and showing up for people and I’m incredibly proud of that.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories is spending summers at my family’s beach house on Folly Beach. Being able to get from home to the beach in 15 minutes felt completely normal at the time- now I realize how lucky I was! 😅 I’ll always be grateful for those summers and all the memories we made there.
