Daily Inspiration: Meet Katherine Beasley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Katherine Beasley.

Katherine, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hi Katherine started Photography while I was in college in my hometown, where my business quickly grew to the point where I had to drop out of my sorority and gradually a year early so that I could take my business full-time. During this time, I married Tyler and we begin shooting weddings together a few years after graduating college, we moved to Charleston where our business took off to new Heights and we began shooting destination weddings all over the world. Since then we have hosted workshops for photographers, launched a flat lay education course, and have worked with some high profile clients that continue to help us elevate our brand.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
With being any kind of entrepreneur, there is always highs and lows, but how you choose to ride them out and work through them is what truly matters. Our faith has allowed us to always stay positive, seek encouragement and trust God through the valleys.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
With being a wedding photo and video team that is also a husband and wife team, we pride ourselves in giving our clients a one of a kind, elevated experience that makes them feel comfortable, confident, and important. We believe there are so many people who can take amazing photos and videos, but how you treat your clients and the experience you give them is what sets you apart. We have spent the last decade of our business focusing on that aspect and it is one of the most complimented parts of what we do on a wedding day.

How do you think about happiness?
Working with my husband is what makes me the most happy! I truly would not want to do this business without him. We bring so many different unique aspects to the table that balance each other so perfectly. It is a blessing that we get to call our business work when we’re late. It is so much fun and rewarding.
