Daily Inspiration: Meet Mossiah Jones

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mossiah Jones.

Hi Mossiah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was blessed with the opportunity to open a recording studio. Even though I didn’t have e any prior experience in the industry, I just relied on my past experiences running nightclubs and promoting events and incorporated that into this new venture. I had dealt with the same type of people like DJs, promoters and artists.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My biggest challenge came from finding credible and experienced engineers most already had careers in the industry so I had to turn individuals who loved music and taught them the fundamentals of recording.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Starting out we didn’t have the “million dollar” studio, a trusted name in the industry or experienced personnel but we did have a digital footprint and knowledge of marketing so we used what we had to carve out a niche. We focused on customer service and customer experience, we kept the facility clean and modern and that gave us an edge.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Treat every client like a VIP and they will do the work for you.
