Daily Inspiration: Meet Brittany Tickle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Tickle.

Brittany, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve always believed that our hardest seasons can become the foundation for our greatest purpose.

My journey has never been a straight line. I’ve been a musician, vocal coach, personal trainer, Reiki Master, and someone who has spent years exploring the connection between the body, mind, and spirit. What started as a passion for helping people feel stronger eventually became something much deeper when my own health began to change.

Living with chronic autoimmune illness forced me to slow down and rethink everything I believed about healing. I realized that healing isn’t always about becoming who you were before—sometimes it’s about discovering someone even stronger. That experience taught me resilience, presence, and gratitude in ways I never expected.

Today I live in the Appalachian Mountains of East Tennessee, where nature has become one of my greatest teachers. Whether I’m beside a river, in the forest, creating art, making music, or working with clients, I’m constantly reminded that growth happens in seasons. My work combines practical wellness with energy healing, nervous system support, movement, and compassion because I believe true healing involves every part of who we are.

More than anything, I hope my story reminds people that they are never defined by what they’ve survived. Beauty can grow from broken places, strength is often quiet, and there is always hope waiting on the other side of hardship. If my journey has taught me anything, it’s that even after life’s biggest storms, we still have the ability to choose wonder, purpose, and love.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I wouldn’t change the person those challenges have shaped me into.

I’ve faced chronic illness that changed nearly every aspect of my life. There were seasons when I had to grieve the version of myself I thought I’d always be while learning how to embrace the person I was becoming. I’ve also navigated personal hardships that tested my confidence, my sense of safety, and my ability to trust myself again.

As a single mother, there have been moments when I wondered how I would keep moving forward. Those experiences taught me resilience in a way nothing else could. They also deepened my empathy. When someone comes to me feeling overwhelmed, unseen, or disconnected from themselves, I understand that place because I’ve been there too.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that healing is rarely linear. There are beautiful days and incredibly difficult ones, but both have something to teach us. Instead of waiting for life to become perfect, I’ve learned to find joy in the ordinary—a sunrise over the mountains, the sound of a river, creating music, laughing with my daughters, or witnessing someone rediscover hope within themselves.

Looking back, I no longer see my obstacles as something that happened to me. They became the catalyst for a more authentic life. They taught me that strength isn’t about never falling—it’s about choosing to rise with a softer heart, deeper compassion, and a clearer sense of purpose each time you do.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’ve always struggled to fit inside a single job title because creativity has never been something I do—it’s how I experience the world.

Professionally, I’ve worked as a vocalist, vocal coach, personal trainer, Reiki Master, and wellness guide, but the common thread has always been helping people reconnect with themselves. Whether I’m teaching someone to find confidence in their voice, supporting nervous system regulation, or creating art inspired by nature, my goal is the same: to help people remember their own strength and authenticity.

My work is deeply inspired by the Appalachian Mountains I call home. Nature has taught me that healing, creativity, and growth all follow seasons, and I bring that philosophy into everything I create. I believe beauty and resilience exist side by side, and I try to reflect that through my art, my writing, and the way I connect with others.

What sets me apart is that I don’t separate creativity from healing. Music, movement, nature, storytelling, and energy are all different languages that speak to the same human experience. My work isn’t about fixing people; it’s about creating space for them to reconnect with who they already are.

The accomplishment I’m most proud of isn’t a title or an award. It’s hearing someone tell me they feel seen, hopeful, or inspired after spending time with my work. If I’ve helped one person believe in themselves again or find beauty during a difficult season, then I’ve succeeded.

I think the best art doesn’t just decorate a space—it changes the atmosphere. That’s what I hope to leave behind in every room I enter and every life I have the privilege to touch.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I’ve never thought of life in terms of luck. I think some experiences arrive as gifts, and others arrive as teachers. Looking back, many of the moments that once felt like bad luck became the very things that shaped my purpose.

There have been seasons when it felt as though everything was working against me—health challenges, personal loss, and unexpected detours that forced me to rebuild my life more than once. At the time, I couldn’t understand why those things were happening. Now I can see that they taught me resilience, compassion, and the importance of living authentically.

If I’ve experienced good luck, I believe it’s been in the people who’ve crossed my path at exactly the right moment, the beauty I’ve found in nature, and the opportunities to help others through my own experiences. Those moments have reminded me that hope often appears quietly and unexpectedly.

In business and in life, I’ve learned that preparation, consistency, and staying true to my values create opportunities that might look like luck from the outside. I try to approach each day with curiosity instead of fear and gratitude instead of expectation. The more I do that, the more meaningful opportunities seem to find me.

I don’t believe we’re defined by what happens to us. I believe we’re defined by what we choose to create from it. That’s been the greatest blessing of my journey.
