Today we’d like to introduce you to Kendrea Robinson.
Hi Kendrea, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my journey in 2016 as I was navigating as a travel nurse. Travel nursing brought me an experience that I will forever be grateful. On this journey I discovered purpose and passion. I went through a mental, physical and spiritual transformation. I lost weight and gained a greater clarity about my identity. Through that experience it has led me to further my education and become a Nurse Practitioner and now a business owner. 10 years later I am grateful to have been structured for today. I am now the owner of Practical Purpose Solutions. This was truly not an overnight process but this was years of learning my purpose. Days and night of prayer and learning to live a consecrated life. Saying yes to assignments when I didn’t feel as if I was fully equipped. Supporting the community through hosting various events, volunteering and more. Through all of this, I have learned to be patient, consistent, understanding and operate in my authenticity. The place of authenticity is where I feel free and nothing that is meant for me seems to be missed. I have been in abundance since the day I decided to fully operate in all that God has created me to be.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
This has not always been a smooth road. I have encountered many obstacles. I have had days when I wanted to throw in the towel but I also had days when it all made sense to why I started. I will admit that Nursing School was definitely one of my biggest obstacles.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Practical Purpose Solutions was established in 2020. We focus on helping individuals feel good and look good. Services we offer are Holistic Services, IV Hydration Therapy and Weight Loss Management. We currently are in partnership with various local businesses to help their business continue to operate by offering DOT and Preemployment physicals. Through our popular service IV Hydration Therapy we are able to provide nutrients (Vitamin C, B Complex, Magnesium) on a cellular to help each patient receive they need to help decrease inflammation and increase their immune system. Our services have helped so many people across the State such as Athletes, Managers, Geriatrics, Mothers, Fathers and more.
We are unique because we truly treat each patient differently. Every treatment plan is tailored to the person’s mental, physical and spiritual health and not just physical health. For example, sometimes our patients don’t need medication but they need Mental Health Therapy to lose weight. Also, we are not just a medical clinic but we are a transformation center. Unlike most medical clinics, we have events for women. This has truly been a Blessing for our community. Seeing women come together and leave feeling better and equipped for what their next level in life has been simply AMAZING.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite childhood memory is writing books. My mom would cut cardboards and have us write on them and punch holes on the side and tie them together and we would have a book. When I look back it was those moment where creative took place and opened me to be inspired to be a creative. Leading me to be spontaneous with ideas in my business.
