For 18 years, I helped build other people’s businesses. This year, I finally built my own.
Hi, I’m Kayla, owner of Salt & Stem Mobile Bartending.
Salt & Stem is a dry-hire mobile bartending service specializing in weddings, private events, bachelorette weekends, and intimate celebrations.
What makes us different? You supply the alcohol, and we take care of the rest—professional bartending, mixers, garnishes, ice, cooler, napkins, cups, bar setup, and the details that help your guests feel taken care of. Venue doesn’t have a bar? No problem! Salt & Stem Mobile Bartending offers packages including our signature white wood bar and stained oak wood top.
This business was built from a love of hospitality and a belief that every gathering deserves thoughtful service and genuine connection.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As a solo entrepreneur, I wasn’t just providing the service—I was creating contracts, obtaining licenses and insurance, building a brand, developing pricing, managing social media, networking, and handling client inquiries. Learning all of those areas at once pushed me outside of my comfort zone, but it taught me how resilient and adaptable I can be.
As a mother and business owner, I’ve had to become intentional with my time and priorities. Building a business while still being present for my family has taught me discipline, organization, and the importance of setting boundaries.

As a Mobile Dry-hire bar service, we help elevate events through professional bartending and beverage service without having to charge mark up prices for alcohol, that you or may not consume by hiring an all inclusive service. This gives clients the freedom of providing their own preferred spirits and event experience. Whether it’s a wedding, private party, or special celebration. Everything we do is centered around hospitality, attention to detail, and creating memorable experiences for our clients and their guests.
