Today we’d like to introduce you to Neek Mason.
Hi Neek, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Neek Mason, and I’m the proud Owner & CEO of Makin’ Magic Network a growing entertainment network created with one vision in mind: giving both established celebrities and undiscovered talent a powerful platform to shine. What started as a dream fueled by passion, creativity, and determination has now evolved into a network dedicated to producing exciting, authentic, and unforgettable entertainment for audiences everywhere.
My journey into entertainment wasn’t built overnight. I’ve always had a deep love for storytelling, media, and creating opportunities for people whose voices and talents deserve to be seen. Over the years, I realized there were so many gifted individuals with incredible stories who simply needed the right platform and exposure. That realization inspired me to build something bigger than myself a network that could open doors, create opportunities, and bring fresh, diverse content to viewers around the world.
Today, Makin’ Magic Network is developing an exciting lineup of original programming that goes far beyond traditional reality television. While reality TV is definitely a major part of the network, MMN is also expanding into movies, scripted television, cooking shows, music programming, true crime series, lifestyle content, comedy sitcoms, fashion-focused entertainment, and much more. Our goal is to become a one-stop entertainment destination with content for everyone.
Some of the celebrity-driven reality and entertainment projects connected to the network include shows featuring well-known personalities, influencers, and rising stars from the worlds of television, music, fashion, and social media. Programs such as Awaiting Saje with Troy & Zeruiah, From The Closet To The Catwalk with Joffee Diva, celebrity reality TV auditions, relationship-based reality series, family-centered programming, and behind-the-scenes entertainment projects are all part of the exciting direction MMN is heading toward. We are also actively building partnerships and opportunities involving actors, artists, producers, influencers, and entertainment professionals nationwide.
What makes this journey special is that it’s rooted in resilience, faith, hard work, and the belief that dreams can become reality with consistency and vision. There were challenges along the way, but every obstacle helped shape me into the entrepreneur and creative leader I am today. I’ve learned that success is not only about building a brand it’s about creating opportunities for others, inspiring people to chase their goals, and leaving a lasting impact through entertainment and storytelling.
Makin’ Magic Network is still growing, but the vision is massive. We’re focused on creating content that entertains, inspires, and connects people from all walks of life. This is only the beginning, and I’m incredibly excited for the future of MMN and everything that’s ahead.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it definitely has not been a smooth or easy road. Building MMN came with many challenges, sacrifices, setbacks, and moments where giving up could have been the easier option. Like many entrepreneurs in entertainment, I started with a vision long before I had all the resources, connections, or financial backing to fully bring it to life. There were times when people doubted the vision, underestimated the brand, or didn’t understand how serious and passionate I was about creating something impactful.
One of the biggest struggles was trying to build a legitimate entertainment network independently while balancing the many responsibilities that come with leadership, production, branding, networking, and business development all at once. The entertainment industry can be extremely competitive, and breaking into spaces connected to television, film, and celebrity talent requires persistence, patience, and resilience. I had to learn how to navigate difficult situations, build relationships, recover from disappointments, and continue moving forward even when things didn’t happen as quickly as I hoped.
Funding and resources were also challenges along the way. A lot of people see the exciting side of entertainment, but they don’t always see the sleepless nights, the stress behind productions, the planning, or the sacrifices required to keep pushing a dream forward. There were moments where I had to work twice as hard just to prove that Makin’ Magic Network belonged in the conversation with larger entertainment platforms.
Another challenge was finding people who truly believed in the vision and were willing to grow with the company. Building a strong team and trustworthy partnerships takes time, especially in an industry where consistency and loyalty are everything. But through every obstacle, I stayed focused on the bigger picture and remained committed to creating opportunities not only for myself, but for others as well.
At the same time, those struggles helped shape me into the businesswoman, creative visionary, and leader I am today. Every setback taught me something valuable about perseverance, faith, business, and believing in myself even during difficult moments. Those experiences are part of what makes Makin’ Magic Network special it was built from genuine passion, determination, and the refusal to quit despite the obstacles.
Now, as the network continues to grow with reality television, celebrity projects, movies, cooking shows, true crime content, fashion and lifestyle programming, sitcoms, music-related entertainment, and more, I can honestly say that every struggle was worth it because it helped build the foundation for something truly meaningful and long-lasting.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As the Owner & CEO of Makin’ Magic Network, I specialize in entertainment development, television production, creative branding, talent discovery, and building original programming designed to connect with diverse audiences. My work centers around creating opportunities in television and media while developing a platform where both established personalities and emerging talent can thrive.
Makin’ Magic Network is focused on producing a wide variety of entertainment content, including celebrity reality television, lifestyle programming, fashion-based series, cooking shows, scripted television, movies, true crime projects, music and culture content, comedy sitcoms, interviews, and inspirational programming. I’m heavily involved in every aspect of the creative process from conceptualizing shows and building partnerships to casting, branding, production coordination, marketing, and long-term network growth.
Some of the projects connected to the network include celebrity and personality-driven productions such as Awaiting Saje with Troy & Zeruiah, From The Closet To The Catwalk with Joffee Diva, For Eternity with Ashley Neal, Kall Me The Real Karen wet Karen Burdett, Chasing Dreams Nashville and Inside Nashville with Tameka Fraizer entertainment interview concepts, reality TV auditions, and several developing projects involving influencers, entertainers, and rising public figures. My overall goal is to create programming that feels authentic, entertaining, impactful, and culturally relevant.
What I’m most proud of is being able to build something meaningful from the ground up despite obstacles, limited resources, and challenges along the way. I’m proud that Makin’ Magic Network is becoming a platform that not only creates entertainment, but also opens doors for people who may never have had access to opportunities in television and media. Seeing the vision continue to grow and watching people believe in the brand is one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.
What sets me apart is my passion, persistence, and willingness to think beyond traditional entertainment boundaries. I don’t just focus on creating content I focus on creating opportunities, relationships, and long-term impact. I believe authenticity matters, and I work hard to ensure that every project connected to MMN reflects creativity, originality, and purpose.
I also believe my versatility is a major strength. While many networks stay within one lane, Makin’ Magic Network is intentionally expanding across multiple entertainment genres to reach broader audiences. We’re building a brand that blends celebrity culture, storytelling, fashion, music, lifestyle, inspiration, and real-life experiences into one growing platform. More than anything, I want Makin’ Magic Network to be known as a place where talent is recognized, stories are elevated, and entertainment truly comes to life.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
