Meet Eric Wilson of I Sell Health, Inc.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric Wilson.

Hi Eric, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started back in 2004. Back in those days you had to drive to see every client, so I would drive 100 miles sometimes to meet a potential client. It was tough back then as you could not see as many clients back then due to drive time. Also back then probably 20% would not show up for the appointment. Now with most sales and appointments done over the phone you talk to more in a day and if the client does not show up you just call the next one. So that has helped. Now I do business in over 30 States.. I kept working hard to keep building the business. Legislation changes the rules a lot so I need to keep up with that, but the overall business stays the same. It’s been a great ride. I love helping people solve their insurance problems.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Many struggles. As mentioned the drive time early on was costly and time consuming. Then when the Affordable Care Act passed in 2010, commission was cut by 50% so that was a high pay cut. Then when it was fully implemented cut in half again, So I had to sell three times as much for the same income. That was probably the biggest. Being able to survive that and be still standing when many packed it in, was a huge win for the business.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about I Sell Health, Inc.?
We specialize in helping small businesses and self employed find Affordable Health insurance. Also those turning 65 find Medicare Solutions. We work with all major carriers, as well as many smaller carriers which often times offer better pricing. On the Medicare size. That maze is confusing you need an expert to help you navigate it.

What makes you happy?
Helping people. Zig Ziglar said you can get everything you want if you help enough people get what they want. So I believe I just need to help people ever day.
