Amanda, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Wow! Where does one start? I honestly believe that our story began with simply having a heart’s desire to serve the community. Gary and I tossed around the idea of many business opportunities. The center of our question was always; ” How can we make a difference in the community and provide for our family simultaneously?”
The places of our employment gave us the opportunity to be witness of a need to assist people in their daily living. We both agreed that a clean, peaceful and organized environment is intended to be a safe haven from the outside world. It provides a level of comfort that everyone should have access to. We both noticed that there was a great need among our elders to provide assistance in maintaining this level of comfort in their homes. This service has been made available to all people at an affordable level. Our key scripture in maintaining the Godly standard of business endeavors is Proverbs 16:11
Our focus has always been Kingdom living and dominion keeping; this is what the bible has instructed us to do. To be prosperous in life, one must think and live according to the Word of God!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The biggest challenge has been adapting to the new way of marketing. Gary and I enjoy that person to person interaction; at first; this was our main way to promoting our business. We handed out flyers and simply told people about who we are and what we do. While this is effective, we saw that in order to reach people the way that we desire, we had to utilize social media. This area has not been a strong point for either of us. We both prayed and patiently waited for God to open the door to meet the right person to assist us in building our business online. I want to acknowledge our marketing manager Jules Laracca; she is a blessing and truly valued in our company! Thank you Jules for all that you do!!
We’ve been impressed with Kingdom Keepers Cleaning Services, LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We offer cleaning services for the following at affordable prices.
Residential, Commercial, Student housing, short- and long-term rentals, upholstery cleaning. We also give back to our community by allowing each paying customer to nominate someone for a free cleaning. The nominated individual will be placed into a raffle, at the end of each month on Facebook live, we select from the pool of nominated individuals and provide that person the blessing of a 2-person, 4 hour clean; free of charge.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Goals are not achieved overnight; goals are accomplished with a day-by-day formulated process. If that means buying one piece of equipment at a time, then by all means; buy it one piece at a time. Persistence will pay off and forward into your future, then you will experience the manifestation of your heart’s desire.
