Today we’d like to introduce you to Deezy Hendo.
Hi Deezy , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My story really started with a passion for music and self-expression. Early on, I was just creating music as a way to express what I was going through and the lifestyle I was living. It was something that came naturally to me, and over time, I realized it was more than just a hobby—it was something I wanted to take seriously.
As I continued to grow, I started to understand that being an artist was about more than just making songs. I began learning about branding, consistency, and how to build something that people could connect with on a deeper level. That’s when I created Rolling Stoned Ent., which started as a name but quickly turned into a brand and a lifestyle.
Throughout the journey, I’ve had to balance real-life responsibilities while still chasing my vision. Working a full-time job while investing into my music and brand taught me discipline, patience, and how to stay focused even when things aren’t moving as fast as you want them to.
Today, I’m in a position where I’m not just creating music—I’m building a brand. With Rolling Stoned Ent., I’m focused on creating a full experience through music, visuals, and merchandise that people can connect with. The vision continues to grow, and I’m always looking for new ways to elevate and expand what I’m building.
At the end of the day, my journey is still being written, but everything I’ve done so far has been about growth, consistency, and staying true to who I am.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been balancing real life with chasing my vision. Working a full-time job while investing time, energy, and money into my music and brand can be tough, especially when things don’t move as fast as you want them to.
Another challenge is building everything from the ground up without a big team or major backing. A lot of the time, I’m handling multiple roles—artist, creative, business owner—and figuring things out as I go. That can get overwhelming, but it also teaches you a lot about discipline and self-reliance.
There’s also the mental side of it. Staying consistent when you’re not seeing immediate results, or when people don’t always understand your vision, can be challenging. But I’ve learned that consistency and belief in what you’re building is what separates people who last from people who don’t.
At the end of the day, those challenges have actually helped me grow. They’ve made me more focused, more patient, and more intentional about how I move. Every obstacle has been part of the process, and it’s shaping me into not just a better artist, but a better entrepreneur.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an independent hip-hop artist and the founder of Rolling Stoned Ent., where I focus on creating music, visuals, and a lifestyle brand that all connect as one.
Musically, I specialize in making authentic, vibe-driven records that reflect real life, growth, and the everyday experiences people can relate to. My sound is rooted in being laid back but intentional, and I take pride in creating music that people can ride to, think to, and live with.
Outside of the music, I’m big on building a full brand experience. Through Rolling Stoned Ent., I create merchandise and visuals that match the lifestyle behind the music. Whether it’s clothing, content, or creative direction, everything is designed to feel cohesive and represent the same energy.
What I’m most proud of is building everything from the ground up while staying consistent. Every release, every piece of content, and every product is a step forward in growing the brand and connecting with a wider audience.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just focus on one lane. I’m intentional about combining the music, the branding, and the business side into one vision. I’m not just creating songs—I’m building something people can be a part of, and that’s what makes Rolling Stoned Ent. different.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I like most about the city is the opportunity to grow while still being connected to where I come from. Being from Gray Court and now living in Greenville, I’ve seen both sides—small town roots and a city that’s developing and opening up more opportunities. It gives me a grounded perspective but also room to expand.
I also like the support and sense of community. There’s a lot of talent around here, and you can really build connections if you’re intentional. Being back and forth to Atlanta as well has helped me tap into a bigger market and bring that energy back with me, so it’s like having the best of both worlds.
What I like least is that sometimes the local scene can feel limited or overlooked. There’s a lot of talent, but not always enough spotlight or resources compared to bigger cities. That can make it harder for artists and creatives to get the recognition they deserve.
At the same time, I look at that as motivation. It pushes me to work harder, stand out, and help bring more attention to where I’m from. Everything I’m building is not just for me, but to show that talent from places like this can grow and reach bigger stages.
