Life & Work with Ravon Hernandez of Anderson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ravon Hernandez.

Hi Ravon, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My story is a mix of childhood ambition and adult grit. It started with a passion for performance and evolved into the creation of AmiracleEyes. Today, after reaching milestones like being featured in Vogue and launching my own cosmetic line, I’ve realized my true ‘why’ is helping women heal. I’m no longer just building a brand; I’m building a legacy centered on authenticity and mental health.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Smooth? Not even a little bit. If the road is smooth, you’re probably headed in the wrong direction. The road has been a masterclass in resilience. My biggest hurdles were breaking out of the boxes people tried to put me in moving from ‘just’ a model to a business owner, and then to a vocal advocate for healing and trauma recovery. Balancing the fast-paced demands of a Vogue-level career with the grounded needs of a startup founder meant I had to develop thick skin very quickly. I’ve dealt with the ‘ No’s,’ the delays, and the burnout, but I look at every struggle as a tax you pay for the life you want.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At my core, I am a multi-hyphenate creative operating at the high stakes intersection of fashion, business, and advocacy. My professional life is a dual-lens experience: as a professional model, I specialize in high concept editorial storytelling a journey that led me to be featured in Vogue as an independent artist. Simultaneously, as the CEO of AmiracleEyes, I’ve transitioned from being ‘the face’ to being the force, building a brand that bridges the gap between aesthetic excellence and soul-deep wellness. I’m primarily known for my versatility and my ‘refuse to wait’ mentality. I didn’t wait for an agency to hand me a career; I built one from the ground up in South Carolina until the world’s biggest publications took notice. But beyond the glitz of a magazine spread, I’m known for my voice in healing and trauma recovery. What sets me apart is that I don’t see a ceiling between business and the human spirit. While many in the beauty industry focus strictly on the surface, I lead with the heart. I’m a CEO who understands the grind, an artist who understands the canvas, and an advocate who understands the pain. If you ask what I’m most proud of, it’s the fact that I’ve stayed grounded in my mission as my platform has grown. Seeing my face in Vogue was a dream realized, but seeing a woman feel restored or empowered through my brand is what actually keeps me going. I’m proud to have turned my personal experiences into a roadmap for others. I’m not just here to occupy space or sell a product; I’m here to change the energy of the room and build a legacy centered on authenticity.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5-10 years, I see a massive shift from transactional beauty to transformational beauty. We are moving away from the era of ‘perfection’ and into the era of ‘presence.’ In the modeling world, the trend isn’t just about diversity in looks anymore ; it’s about diversity in story. Brands are starting to realize that a model’s platform and their purpose are just as valuable as their walk or their pose. We’re going to see more ‘independent’ creatives like I’ve been taking the lead and bypassing traditional gatekeepers.

In the beauty and wellness space, I see trauma informed beauty becoming a standard, not a niche. Consumers are becoming hyper aware of how their environment and mental health affect their skin and overall glow. We’ll see the rise of ‘neuro cosmetics’ and products that focus on calming the nervous system just as much as they focus on the surface.

The biggest change, though, will be the over optimization backlash. People are craving community and realness. My goal for AmiracleEyes is to stay ahead of that curve by remaining a brand that prioritizes healing and genuine connection over just chasing the next viral trend. The future isn’t just digital; it’s deeply, unapologetically human.
