Hi Marilyn, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
The Dove Collective began in a season where I felt the pull to slow down and live more intentionally. My faith has always been the anchor in the ways in which I live my life, and being a wife and mother motivated me to create something that reflected what mattered most. I longed for faith to be woven into the everyday, what I wore, what I carried, and how I showed up in the world.
What started as a small, personal project soon became something more meaningful as I realized others were longing for the same thing: gentle reminders of peace, purpose, and belonging in Christ.
This store is deeply personal to me. Every piece is designed with prayer, care, and intention, with the hope that it meets people where they are, whether in quiet moments, difficult seasons, or the simplicity of daily life.
The Dove Collective is not about trends or noise, but about faith that feels lived-in, honest, and enduring, faith meant to be carried with you, not just worn. I hope that with each piece, I can bring hearts closer to Him. 🤍
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not been smooth, but that is the beauty of growth. While balancing motherhood, marriage, and building a faith-based brand, I faced seasons of doubt, limited time, and uncertainty about what lay ahead. One of the greatest challenges was learning to trust God fully with the outcome, even when the path forward was unclear.

What I am most proud of is building something honest and faith-led while balancing motherhood and marriage, and trusting God to guide both the process and the outcome.
At its heart, The Dove Collective is about faith worn quietly while the message speaks boldly. If it reaches even one soul, that is one more soul drawn back to Christ.
How do you think about happiness?
True happiness for me, comes from Christ, my family, and living a life rooted in purpose and obedience.
