Hi Kylee, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hi, My name is Kylee King. I’m from the little town of Loris, SC. I’ve grown up with country roots and never been ashamed of who I am. Grateful to call this place home. I was about as country as they come growing up, and beauty wasn’t something I ever thought much about. A middle school dance changed my perspective. Something clicked. I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do. Not specially getting all done up with hair and makeup but the one on one personable moment getting to feel on top of the world for the night. That experience planted a seed in my heart to help others feel confident, seen, and beautiful in their own skin, just like I did that day.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It truly hasn’t always been a smooth road, but with God’s guidance, I’ve been able to conquer more than I ever imagined possible. I can remember weeks with one or two clients and that still meant everything to me. Every challenge has strengthened my Faith and reminded me that His plan is greater than my own. This industry truly has no limits. When you trust God and allow Him to truly have control, He will lead you to that success that was meant to find you. Success isn’t always money either, sometimes it’s a day of intentional conversation.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My brand is built on more than beauty. I am a lash artist, spray tan artist, and brow artist who believes true confidence starts from within. What sets my business apart is its faith-based foundation. This is a space where people come not only to feel beautiful on the outside, but to be uplifted on the inside as well. Every appointment is an opportunity for connection, encouragement, and prayer if desired. My goal has always been create an environment where clients feel safe, seen, and loved leaving refreshed in both spirit and confidence.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
There is so many things that make me happy. I have been able to see so much through this industry. That you can be a beauty creator and still a country girl a heart. I’ve been able to combine both sides of my life in the industry. Connecting with so many people in my small town. In my free time, I love too hunt, spend time on the beach, ride the river, and do all things outdoors. Country girls don’t get the credit for all we’re capable of. Small towns can still create big dreams.
