Check Out Sharon Chrzanowski’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sharon Chrzanowski.

Hi Sharon, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I began a career in Mortgages in the early 90s. When the market crashed, I retired and was able to become a stay at home mom. When my youngest graduated high school in 2022, I felt called to go back to work. I have always enjoyed helping people achieve their housing goals and so I decided to become a realtor. My Mortgage background played such a large part in guiding people that I also reactivated my lending license.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have had rheumatoid arthritis since my early 20s as a result of a tick bite. I have had to learn to adapt, and I have learned that attitude is 99% of the battle. Even on days when I may be having a flareup, I go to work because I get so much joy out of helping people.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My motivation is to help people. The rest follows. I think I am most known for that. In my first full year of real estate, I became a top 10 agent in my brokerage, the largest in the Myrtle Beach market. I also have been recognized by Rate my agent as agent of the year in several communities as well as Horry County(2025). I specialize in new construction, listings , relocation and first time homebuyers. My mortgage background and licenses really helped to determine if someone qualifies and I can also tell them what they need to do to get into buying position. About half of my activity is selling Homes as a listing agent. I’m very proud of the fact that my listing times are less than the county average.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My husband, Dan is my real estate partner.
He pursued his licenses because I needed help. He is a natural!
My first mentor when I was a producing manager for a large mortgage lender, taught me that I could do anything if I put my mind to it and set goals.
