Hi Tammie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Massage isn’t what I do, it’s who I am. From a very young age, I realized I had a gift of healing. In my 20’s while working in a screen printing shop I had a supervisor tell me that I was in the wrong field and that I needed to be a professional massage therapist. I had no idea what that was. That night I went home and researched it. 2 weeks later I was enrolled in school and 31 years later I am still loving my career. When people come to me, they are either in pain physically, mentally or both. I focus on the whole person, relaxing the mind as well as the body. I customize each massage to the person’s needs. There is never an upcharge for different techniques or using tools. I often incorporate cupping into a session or scrapping. I am also a Reiki healer so I will incorporate energy work into a session if needed. As a Christian I am always available to pray with or for anyone who needs spiritual healing too.
When a client leaves my office, I want them to feel relaxed and at peace. I genuinely care about every person who lays on my table.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the biggest struggles has been having the heart for giving, Realizing this is my career and how I put food on the table and a roof over my head. I want massage to be available to everyone so I keep my prices as low as possible. Some people try to take advantage of my kindness and try to get me to basically give my services for almost free. I offer many specials ro help people be able to afford therapy.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am more than just a skilled massage therapist, I am a listener, a hug giver, a prayer warrior and a sit down and have a cup of coffee person. When you come to me you are more than just a body for me to make money from. I see you as a whole person.
I offer $35 dollar sixty-minute massages the month of your birthday, because you deserve to be celebrated.
I offer several packages that help bring down the cost of massages.
I will happily take time to pray with you or talk to you or just listen, when you need to get it off your chest.
I have developed my own technique and am known for being able to get in deep while relaxing you to the point you fall asleep or as many clients tell me “go into a trance”.

All my life I have wanted to be a published best selling author. I have a full novel that has been finished for years, as well as short stories, poems and one childrens book. Maybe someday they will be published.
