Rising Stars: Meet Ronda Lusch of Rock Hill

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ronda Lusch.

Hi Ronda, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have been a realtor for over 20 years. I am licensed in South Carolina & North Carolina. I have 4 generations of Real estate professionals in my family. My grandfather started building homes for World War II Veterans and my father carried it forward as a residential & commercial broker. They both were incredible with people and made lifelong friendships as a result of it. I feel I am mirroring his footsteps. Most of my clients, I have worked with multiple times. I love what I do. I actually have an ad from my grandfather as a builder. I am always there for my clients.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
In 20 plus years, it has been rewarding. The market has gone up and down since I have been in it. I do not pay for advertising or leads. I have managed to hang in there when the market has been tough, like right now. I stay busy with what I lovingly call my repeat offenders (past clients) and referrals.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am not only a Realtor, I am a friend and a puzzle master. All of my clients are unique. They all have different needs. It is my job to figure out not what they can afford but what they are comfortable with. Everyone has a different lifestyle. I always meet with my clients first. I review everything from start to finish such as contracts, inspections, appraisals, the market etc. I design a plan for that person based on their needs. I am also a great negotiator.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
The biggest risk I took was getting into this business with a zero cushion. I worked hard and managed to hang in there and become successful at what I do. I believe if you do not try to step out of your comfort zone you will never know what you are capable of doing.
