Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaclyn DeMiro.
Hi Jaclyn, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We’ve worn just about every hat a gym can offer—member, coach, manager, programmer. And for ten years, we talked about opening our own place. Not just a gym—but something more personal. More intentional.
Every time we almost started, something got in the way. Looking back now, we’re glad it did—because we weren’t building for the right reasons. Now, we are.
Revival was born out of the shift from chasing competition to choosing longevity. From working out to working through. From going harder to going smarter. This is the gym we always wanted to belong to—where effort is celebrated, growth is shared, and the spark to keep going never burns out.
Jackie grew up in the gym. A former competitive gymnast turned elite-level CrossFit athlete, she’s competed at Wodapalooza, the Dubai Fitness Championship, the Granite Games, and Grid League. But her proudest moments have come not from the podium, but from helping others find their own strength.
Anthony is a five-time CrossFit Regionals athlete who went on to qualify for the CrossFit Games. He’s programmed and coached across the East Coast—from New York to South Carolina—and built a reputation for being both relentlessly technical and quietly supportive.
Together, we’ve coached hundreds of athletes and non-athletes alike. We’ve learned how to create spaces where people feel seen, challenged, and genuinely supported. Revival is our way of paying that forward.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Opening Revival Fitness wasn’t smooth or simple—it was forged through setbacks that tested our commitment before the doors ever opened. A major business deal we believed in fell through, forcing us to pivot quickly, rethink our plan, and decide whether this dream was worth rebuilding from the ground up. There were moments of uncertainty, financial stress, and hard conversations, but quitting was never an option. Instead, we doubled down on our values, our vision, and our belief in community. Revival Fitness exists because of resilience, adaptability, and the refusal to let obstacles define the outcome. Every workout inside these walls is built on that same foundation: show up, do the work, and rise stronger than before.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At Revival, coaching is more than cueing form or calling out reps.
It’s knowing your name, your story, and how you move.
It’s building trust—so we can push you when you need it, and pull you back when you don’t.
We believe in:
Training smart. Every movement and every cycle has intention.
Personal connection. You’ll get real coaching, not just cheerleading.
Progress that lasts. We’re not here to break you down—we’re here to build you up.
Whether you’re an athlete, a beginner, or somewhere in between, we’ll meet you where you are—and help you go further than you thought possible.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
If luck has played a role in our life and business, it’s rarely been the kind people romanticize. We’ve faced more bad luck than good—deals falling apart, timing that never quite lined up, obstacles appearing just as momentum started to build. There were moments when it felt like every step forward came with an unexpected setback. But over time, we realized something important: what others might call “bad luck” became our greatest teacher. It forced us to become resourceful, disciplined, and relentless. We learned not to wait for things to break our way, but to create momentum through consistency, effort, and belief when conditions weren’t ideal. Revival Fitness wasn’t built on lucky breaks—it was built on perseverance. And that’s the kind of foundation that lasts.
