I’ve created a space where that practice can thrive.
As a Registered Nurse with over 21 years of experience in healthcare and aesthetics, I’ve dedicated my life to helping others feel better—inside and out. I’m also the proud founder of Aesthetica Med Spa in Charlotte, a thriving medical aesthetics practice known for its natural results, clinical expertise, and personalized care.
But my passion for wellness runs deeper than professional experience—it comes from personal transformation.
A few years ago, I faced my own health challenges stemming from toxic overload, chronic inflammation, and gut dysfunction. Like many of my clients, I spent years chasing answers and trying treatments that only scratched the surface. It wasn’t until I incorporated infrared sauna therapy and red light therapy into my daily healing routine that everything changed. These therapies became the cornerstone of my detoxification and recovery journey, helping me reduce inflammation, support my liver, balance my hormones, and regain my energy.
As I began to heal, I realized something powerful: true beauty begins with internal balance. I knew I had to bring these powerful tools to others.
That vision became Renu Sauna & Wellness—a sanctuary in North Myrtle Beach where science, self-care, and luxury come together. Choosing this location was personal: I’ve vacationed in Myrtle Beach every year since I was a child. It holds generations of memories for me—and now, even more meaning as my son has graduated from Coastal Carolina University and made the area his home. I visit often, and bringing Renu here feels like bringing my life full circle.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Nothing great is ever a smooth road. I have worked tirelessly to create two businesses while fighting mold toxicity and health issues that come with that chronic illness. Renu was born after discovering the magnificent detox and healing benefits of sauna and red light. Through the struggles of that illness I created a space that focuses on helping others in the community.

Any big plans?
Plans for the future include educating more people on the healing benefits of sauna and red light. Our goals right now are simple: grow Renu. Once we achieve that expansion to other areas is the goal so that more and more people can experience healing and longevity. We are consistently growing and adapting to the needs of our clients so sky is the limit.
