Today we’d like to introduce you to Tori Buck.
Hi Tori , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My passion for photography began at a very young age, with my first viewfinder camera at the age of five. By sixth grade, I had persuaded my shop teacher to let me transform a janitorial closet into a darkroom. As I matured, a camera was always by my side, and I developed a particular affinity for black and white film photography, a preference that endures to this day. In subsequent years, I took on the role of walk leader for Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photowalk, serving as both a leader and panel judge for local participants in Huntington, West Virginia. This was during my time at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where I studied design, and the Huntington School of Business. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, I established my own photography business and taught photography at a local library in Barboursville, West Virginia. In 2017, I relocated my business to my home state of South Carolina.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting a business presents numerous challenges, particularly in the initial stages. My goal was to establish a premier photography company dedicated to preserving wedding memories. I aimed to create an experience that was both enjoyable and lively, celebrating with each couple to ensure their day was unforgettable. I developed a system that not only delivered exceptional service but also ensured our clients had an enjoyable experience, allowing them to fondly reflect on their most cherished moments.

We specialize in wedding photography, including elopements, engagements, proposals, and boudoir sessions. Our meticulous pre-planning for each wedding and photo session ensures a seamless and enjoyable experience for our clients. We develop and execute a comprehensive plan, blending creativity with a fun and engaging atmosphere.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
We appreciate the atmosphere of Hilton Head and its surrounding areas; however, the traffic can be quite challenging.
