Today we’d like to introduce you to Donny Grover.
Hi Donny, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Donny holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, where he also completed coursework for a Computer Engineering degree and earned a Minor in Business Administration.
Before founding Grover Web Design, Donny played professional ice hockey across the U.S., Australia, Germany, and Denmark. Competing internationally taught him how to work effectively with diverse teams, communicate with clarity, and adapt quickly, all skills that now define his leadership in technology.
With 20+ years of experience managing remote developers and IT teams, Donny combines engineering expertise, business insight, and an athlete’s discipline to help organizations simplify technology, integrate systems, and scale efficiently.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Because. I played 6 years of professional hockey, I didn’t fully jump into the work force right after college. I had started to do some business building websites, but my primary focus was on playing hockey. After my hockey career ended, I felt a little behind the 8 ball and attacked everything with a “gotta catch up” method, I still try to trick myself into that today.
