Today we’d like to introduce you to Mary Callozzo.
Hi Mary, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story has no true beginning, simply marked moments of change and growth. We are all born with unique abilities, passions, and inspirations, mine are simply geared towards spirituality and helping others heal. This is the energy that shines light over the world and sparks the light in the people around us.
As a group, Earth & Star is here to provide spiritual teachings, to help people heal from the things holding them back, and to welcome those who need it into nature spaces for deeper connections and inner harmony. This is what we refer to as coming Home, a spiritual awakening as the individual discovers their own beliefs of a higher power and personal cosmology.
As an individual, I am here to redefine religion. For people in spiritual spaces there has been a shedding of formal religion and many religious wounds due to dogma and widespread beliefs that don’t suit every person as an individual. This has left a void in the community of those who seek but don’t feel that they quite fit anywhere in particular. I teach that spirituality is the personal quest for higher power, and religion is how the individual acts on what they believe. With this reframe every person can fit into a community where what feels kind and loving to them can be respected and honored, where they can feel supported on their quest towards love, and still have the freedom to shed beliefs that they’ve outgrown and try on new realizations. The behavior and outwards expressions reflect what the person inwardly believes, about themselves and their higher power, and is what religion ultimately is.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
*Insert laughing face emoji here>. I wouldn’t say choosing this path is particularly easy. There’s a lot to navigate. Ethics, interpersonal relationships, team management, even technology have been major learning curves as an Ordained Minister, healer, retreat leader, etc. Any path as a Way Shower, where people look to you for leadership, means that you better have been through some things and come out of them successfully. How can I expect to hold a safe container for other people and their emotions if I have never learned to do that for myself? Self-work is a huge part of helping other people find their own spark.
The other side of this is the ghostly realm that I walk. My unique gift gives me the ability to speak to souls, angels, guides, and even demons on the other side in order to bring back messages and healing for those here. These beings do not always respect boundaries and pop up unexpectedly in many different ways. Spiritual warfare and constant purity in my vigil are important to my own spiritual protection and the safety of my family.
While the path I’ve chosen and been gifted has had many valleys and hills, it is a beautiful and fulfilling experience. It has enriched my perspective of life so that it is truly sensual and transcendental. Being alive is pulling the wind into my heart, smelling the spice of each living plant, laying in the dirt with the sun shining on my skin. When you see what’s “not alive” so often, you really learn to truly live while here on the Earth.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
That’s an amazing question, and one that has a constantly evolving answer. Overall, I would say my calling is working from the concept of love in order to spark life in those who have found themselves not truly living. These could be people who suffer due to past trauma, or who find themselves unable to move forward due to addictions. Maybe there are simply areas where their personal growth needs a little tending to. I teach, offer healing work, and host immersive experiences for the betterment towards that goal.
I believe in healing miracles, true heart connections, and our unique role of bringing harmony to nature and the heavens. I’ve trained for most of my life and received certifications as a Reiki Master Teacher, Shaman Master Teacher, Crystal Healer, Meditation Guide, Dream Interpreter, Acupressure Practitioner, Hypnotherapist, Akashic Records Healer, Quantum Healer, Cacao Ceremony Facilitator, Bard within the Druid trainings, and Deliverance Practitioner (attachment removal and exorcisms). I’ve been called a prophet, a Master, and a transformational healer, but it’s all quite simple to me. I am nothing. And I am Everything. There is nothing but life and love, and from there all can be resolved and made good.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was very much a little “tomboy” as a child. I was very close to my father who played music with me, football, baseball, and kept me outdoors for work and play. I remember the moment the girl mold was broken for me; it was like an epiphany! A group of us girls were having a sleepover and talking about our favorite colors. Of course each girl would either say “pink” or “purple” when it was her turn, separating the group of us into pink girlies or purple girlies. As the division grew in our group, the question finally came across a slightly older girl who answered “blue.” BLUE! It seems so simple as an adult, but growing up in a world where girls wore frilly dresses, were always polite, and could only like two colors, this was mind blowing to me. From that moment on I was okay with the fact that I hated pink. I never chose to wear a frilly dress again, I roll in the dirt whenever I feel like it, and blue has been my favorite color ever since.

- Earth & Star is a spiritual nonprofit, meaning that we accept preset donation amounts for varying services based on the amount of time requested. These prices help support the healers so the clients can be their full time focus, and this also allows us to offer scholarships to those who can’t afford it. Donations cover the cost for a student in a year long program, a series of healing sessions, and a 3 day retreat experience every year. Everyone deserves to heal!
