Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandria Wallace.
Hi Alexandria, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As a child I would pretend to cook in my grandmothers yard. I knew then I wanted to be a chef. Food always brought family and friends around. It made people laugh and have fun. I knew I want to create an atmosphere with just that.
Over the years I worked as a chef at many restaurants and schools. Five years ago I decided to start a catering business. I’ve catered for Wofford, Upstate, Spartanburg Methodist, Converse, VCcom, Spartanburg City and the foundation and many more.
I opened up my restaurant a year ago. Everyday is a blessing and so I strive to do what God has bless me to do.
To be the best Chef I can.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing in life is easy. Mental and physical struggles are dealt with weekly. It’s very scary to not know how well business may do each day. It takes every piece of energy in you to keep going.
