We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not and I wouldn’t want it to be. The challenges have been the very experiences that shaped how I serve my clients today. When I first started my business, my own books were a mess. I know firsthand the stress and uncertainty that comes from not having clarity in your finances. As a Marine, a business owner, and a real estate investor, I’ve faced setbacks, long nights, and tough lessons. But those obstacles taught me discipline, problem-solving, and the importance of staying proactive.
Because of those struggles, I’m able to empathize with clients while also equipping them with the systems and strategies I wish I’d had from the beginning. The road hasn’t been smooth, but it’s been worth every bump, and it’s given me the ability to help others navigate their own journeys with confidence and clarity.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I’m the founder of Time Capital Bookkeeping & CFO Solutions and Time Capital University. At Time Capital Bookkeeping, we specialize in helping Real Estate Investors and small business owners gain clarity and control of their finances. Our services go beyond traditional bookkeeping, we focus on providing CFO-level insights that allow clients to see the bigger picture, make better decisions, and ultimately grow their businesses with confidence.
Time Capital University is our educational arm, where we train and support bookkeepers who want to niche into Real Estate Investing bookkeeping. Through courses, community, and ongoing support, we equip bookkeepers with the tools, systems, and knowledge they need to succeed in this specialized field.
What sets us apart is perspective. I’m not only a bookkeeping professional and financial coach, but also a business owner and active real estate investor. That means I don’t just crunch numbers. I understand the real-world decisions behind those numbers. I know what it’s like to be in the trenches, and I bring that firsthand experience into the way we serve our clients and students.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the fact that both Time Capital Bookkeeping and Time Capital University are built on the principles of service, education, and empowerment. Our goal isn’t just to “do the books” it’s to give business owners and investors peace of mind, financial clarity, and the confidence to scale.
If there’s one thing I want readers to know, it’s this: finances don’t have to feel overwhelming. With the right systems, guidance, and support, you can not only get control of your books but also unlock new opportunities for growth. That’s the mission behind everything we do.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that clarity is power. Early on, I thought working harder and saying “yes” to everything would lead to success. In reality, it only led to burnout and confusion. Once I learned to slow down, get clear on my finances, my goals, and my systems, everything changed.
That same principle applies to my clients. When you have clarity in your numbers, you gain the confidence to make better business decisions, take calculated risks, and scale with purpose. Without it, you’re just guessing.
For me, the lesson is simple: success isn’t about doing more, it’s about having clarity on what matters most and building the systems to support it.
