Hi Hollie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a private jeweler! I started in 2016 as a gift wrapper at a jewelry store, and the rest is history. it works all corners of the jewelry industry from management to sale to marketing to sourcing. I ended up going to GIA school in New York City AND HAVE WORED ALL OVER THE EAST COAST AND COASTAL cities as a jeweler. I’ve worked under industry leaders to gain the perspective and education I have to lead and guide my clients as a professional
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
entrepreneurship is never a smooth road and actually every day you learn soemthing new about yourself, the industry, and business, but I think the most important thing to me is maintaining beginners mindset and a sense of wonder with adaptability
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I design fine jewelry, including engagement, rings, heirloom redesign and custom designs from the ground up. I am the most proud of being mini special stories, whether that be a new love. for reimagining a family earworm that has been in the family for generations. I am proud to say I have built a business network globally to help me run my operation. I am personable and passionate about what I do and you don’t get that a lot in traditional jewelry retail
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
spending my days outside where I grew up in a small town in South Carolina. I was always outdoors getting in inspiration and my mother tells me I was always sketching. New designs for clothes and jewelry.
