Today we’d like to introduce you to Lorraine Toth.
Hi Lorraine, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It all started with my paintbrush at 18-months old. I knew even way back then I was meant to create. There are photos of me painting at a kitchen table less than 2 years old happy as can be.
I am still an Artist as well as a Professional Photographer, Published Author, Podcast Show Host/Creator and happy person who lives a mindful life.
I have been a professional photographer with her company “Dollface Studios NY” , for the last nineteen-years and has been internationally published in several magazines, photographed countless celebrities, photographed Red Carpet Events and even Broadway shows. Her photography has been shown in gallery exhibits as well. Her specialty is posing coaching and she strives to empower women and bring out their inner beauty with her pinup and boudoir photography photo sessions.
I currently lives in Upstate NY, however I am soon transitioning to live a non-conventional life both in Costa Rica and to traveling the world while being a photographer who also lives in my Airstream here in the States. Basically, I will be going from a massive 4 bedroom, 3 bath home to a tiny 16 foot RV that is an Airstream.

Locally, Lorraine is known most as Bettie of “Bettie’s Cakes”. She was the company that had the pink double decker bus that was a mobile Cupcakery back in 2009. She also had six local locations and 42 employees at one point. The brand garnered INTERNATIONAL attention when Bettie’s was featured on Italian TV and the Double Decker bus is in the Food Truck for Dummies book.
Her first book written in 2017 titled “Run”, was a cathartic adventure of self exploration that went on to be an Award Winning Short Film and allowed Lorraine to add “Award Winning Filmmaker” to Lorraine’s life resume. Accepting this award on stage with Lorraine’s daughter at her side was one of her proudest moments.
Lorraine also is a Reiki Master and a Certified Vision Board Coach. She has HUGE goals of being the next “Oprah meets Martha Stewart” with her own brand and paid show/network.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. After 11-years of living in my current home alone, I have decided to rent out my four-bedroom home and go live in a 16-foot Airstream. It gives the vibes of the Chris Farley skit on SNL and I will be “living in a van down by the river!” With each struggle I do learn more about myself though. Focusing on gratitude has been key.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a professional photographer. I specialize in Pinup and Boudoir photography. I have been photographing for 19 years now. I am most proud of how I make women feel when they see themselves through my lens. The gift of being able to make them feel beautiful is something I cherish.
What sets me apart is – I know what it is like to be in front of the lens. I model as well so I excel at helping the clients pose and get naturally relaxed in front of the camera. I am able to guide them through poses and give clear feedback to make it a calming experience. I am also a Reiki Master so I am able to understand energy and how to help the clients relax and breathe through any photo anxiety they may have.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I am an artist at heart. I have photos of myself painting at 18-months old. It is something I must do. Creating art is the blood in my veins. Whether it is photographing, painting, drawing, baking, writing or writing lyrics and poetry….it is all cathartic.
