Hi Luz, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Greenville Party Decor was founded six years ago by three Latina women driven by a passion for decoration and a shared dream to bring their creativity to life. What began as a spark of inspiration has grown into a company where ideas flow freely, with a brand focused on original design and personalized details.
Our mission is simple: to create memorable experiences through thoughtfully designed events, where textures, colors, and details come together to craft a space that’s unique to each celebration—making both hosts and guests feel truly special.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I believe every business faces challenges along the way. For us, decorating, designing, and creativity have always come easily—it flows naturally, and we truly enjoy bringing events to life. However, the real challenges have been more complex. One of the biggest hurdles we faced was the COVID pandemic in 2020, a time when people couldn’t celebrate in person, and venues and restaurants had to close their doors. It forced us to rethink our strategies, adapt to new ways of reaching our audience, and find a financial balance that would keep the business afloat.

Greenville Party Decor is a company dedicated to creating unforgettable event and party decorations, with a strong focus on customization.
We’re known for our attention to detail and our ability to incorporate iconic elements of a theme that truly elevate the events we design.
What sets us apart from other decoration companies is our commitment to enriching each design with carefully selected elements. We go above and beyond during the setup, often including pieces that the client hasn’t specifically rented but that we know will enhance the overall atmosphere and add character to the space.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
There have been many lessons learned across different areas. One of the most important has been learning to value the perspectives of others, not just my own as a decorator and designer. I’ve come to appreciate the importance of working with, respecting, and valuing the tastes and ideas of both clients and collaborators.
Of course, there have also been the essential lessons in finance, economics, and administration, realities that come with running a small business. Greenville Party Decor was born from the shared love of decorating by two women, and the fact that it has grown into the company it is today fills me with so much joy and pride.
