Check Out Emily Clark’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Emily Clark

Hi Emily, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started Modern Vibe in 2023 with a desire to bring more fun and connection into the world. Good music, laughing and dancing with friends…there are few things that compare to these magical moments.

From Ohio originally, I moved to Greenville in 2015. I got the idea for Modern Vibe after visiting a massive art festival in Cincinnati. On the street in the midst of the festival, there was an inflatable club. Enticed by the colorful lights and energetic music, everybody inside was dancing, smiling, living their best life. I went in with my five year old daughter and my sister. The endorphins were flowing and there was evident joy on all our faces…it was a memory I will never forget. I want to be in the business of creating beautiful humans experiences.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No. I dealt with some issues sourcing the clubs originally but that happy accident turned into me having two club options so it actually worked out for the best!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I definitely have an entrepreneurial spirit. I want my life to be about bringing happiness and enjoyment to others. I started my career after graduating with a marketing degree. I worked in product management for Bicycle Playing cards and decided to switch my profession to help people. I went back to school for dental hygiene and have been doing that for the last 15 years. While I enjoy this in, I wanted to be more impactful and bring more joy to people. Modern Vibe was built from that idea. I am also starting another business called Designing Intimacy, a sexual wellness coaching practice.
I am most proud of the smiles and thanks I get from brining fun to people’s lives.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I am hopeful that Modern Vibe will continue to grow! The Atlantic recently published an article talking about how Americans need to party more due to lack of socialization in our society. Community and social connection is so vital to a persons overall happiness and even longevity.
