Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashlyn Greene
Ashlyn, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I loved singing since I was very little. One day I was singing a Demi Lovato song in my bedroom and I caught the attention of my Grandmother and she thought wow, she has a great voice and she insisted I should look into getting vocal training. I started vocal training at the age of 8. My uncle frank was a guitar player and he was my first accompaniment in an elementary school showcase. Which this started me into entering local contests. I won my first all ages vocal competition in Spartanburg 2022 at the age of 13. That opened up the door for many opportunities. (In bio) Apollo Theater, JMA Grand Ole Opry, CMA Fest and many local venues in the southern states. My next release a song I wrote about Morgan Wallen will be releasing to all streaming service providers April 18th, 2025. I am very excited about this new song. I currently co-wrote with several NASI writers out of Nashville. I’m currently building my writing catalog.

Showcasing her mature voice and lyrical talent, Ashlyn is a two-time and current nominee for Vocalist of the Year with the JMA’s.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
In this business there is always a challenge. I want to focus more on the festival circuit than local bars and eateries. My main struggle has been finding musicians in the area to play in my band. Majority of the players went into the Nashville circuit for more opportunities.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Songwriting- I like to be an artist that’s relatable. I want to be known for being authentic. Music is not just notes to me, it’s a reflection of who I am-unapologetically me. My most proud moment was 2024 for my first release Last Forever was nominated by Nashville industry panel for songwriter achievement. That meant so much to me for being recognized.

That’s a hard one, I’ve been an open book. Pretty much it’s just my Mom and I running my career. We have no financial backing, it’s tons of grit and my extended family that encourages this passion and dream I have
