Meet Angel Holmes of Sipindipity, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angel Holmes

Hi Angel, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am not sure how far you want to go back, but I got a BA in Journalism with a specialty in PR and Marketing. I spent the next 25 years doing PR for some of the top tourism destinations (Jacksonville and Charleston) and some of the top attractions, retailers, and travel and tourism businesses. I had a PR firm that specialized in culinary businesses, which eventually led me to founding and being the director for the Charleston Wine + Food Festival for 10 years. I lost everything in covid and had to pivot and now I run an in-person community in Charleston–Like Minded CHS for women entrepreneurs and an online community for ambitious women–The Brighter Side Society. I am a Charleston native and below is more of a bio:

Angel Holmes is a Charleston-based community builder and experience architect who transforms ambitious women’s dreams into reality. With a distinguished background in large-scale event production—including leadership roles at the Charleston Wine + Food Festival and BevCon—she has demonstrated exceptional talent in creating transformative experiences that drive both economic impact and meaningful connections.

At the Charleston Wine + Food Festival, Angel helped grow the event to over 20,000 attendees, establishing it as a global culinary benchmark. She also pioneered BevCon in both Charleston and Los Angeles, connecting top beverage professionals through innovative conference experiences. Her ability to tackle unprecedented logistical challenges was showcased in producing the first-ever public event at the Historic Fort Sumter National Park Service site.

Today, Angel channels this expertise into empowering ambitious women through multiple platforms. She’s launching The Brighter Side Society in 2025, an online community designed to provide women with the tools and support needed to achieve their biggest goals. She leads Like Minded CHS, an in-person community for female founders in Charleston, and offers 1:1 mentorship to help women transform overwhelm into organized success. Her unique approach combines strategic vision with genuine relationship building, creating environments where ambitious women can thrive and realize their full potential.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, there has been a lot of learning opportunities along the way–to many to list but I did have to go through bankruptcy after running BevCon and then lost all of my business when covid hit. Those were the two biggest challenges I have faced in business. I am launching a podcast this month–Never Stop Dreaming Biggie where I will share more.

As you know, we’re big fans of Sipindipity, LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
# About Sipindipity and The Brighter Side Society

Sipindipity is where ambitious women transform from feeling overwhelmed to achieving structured success through strategic mentorship and community support. We specialize in helping women who have big dreams but struggle with the overwhelm of making those dreams reality.

What sets us apart is my unique background in large-scale event production and community building. Having led major events like the Charleston Wine + Food Festival (20,000+ attendees) and BevCon (a premier industry conference in Charleston and LA), I bring a rare combination of visionary thinking and meticulous execution to help women architect their own success. My experience producing the first-ever public event at Historic Fort Sumter taught me how to navigate seemingly impossible logistical challenges—skills I now use to help women navigate their own complex paths to success.

Our flagship offering launching in 2025 is The Brighter Side Society, an online community designed as a launchpad for women’s biggest goals and dreams. This isn’t just another online group—it’s a structured environment where members receive the tools, accountability, and support needed to turn aspirations into achievements.

In Charleston, I’ve created Like Minded CHS, an in-person community for female founders that fosters genuine connections and collaborative growth. I also offer personalized 1:1 mentorship for women ready to break through barriers and create strategic pathways to their goals.

I’m most proud of creating spaces where transformation happens. Whether it’s watching a woman finally launch the business she’s been dreaming about for years or seeing members support each other through challenges, these moments of breakthrough define our brand’s purpose.

What I want readers to know is that Sipindipity isn’t just about business success—it’s about whole-life transformation. We believe ambitious women deserve to achieve their professional goals without sacrificing personal fulfillment, and we provide the framework, community, and guidance to make that possible.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
It is hard to find good mentors. You either need to pay a lot for them or they are too busy to help. But the bottom line is to ask. Find someone who has done what you want to do and tell them you would love to get some advice from them. You can offer to pay (they may or may not accept it) and be sure to do your research about them AND follow them on social media and support what they are doing in advance.

Pricing:

  • $95 per month to join Like Minded CHS
  • $250 an hour for a 1:1 mentoring call
  • $777 a year to join the Brighter Side Society
