Life & Work with Chaz Holden of Hilton Head Island

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chaz Holden

Hi Chaz, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name Chaz Holden, and if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I love what I do. Real estate isn’t just a career for me, it’s a passion, a way of life, and something I pour my heart into every single day. Whether it’s helping clients find their forever home, securing the perfect investment property, or capturing the beauty of Hilton Head Island and Bluffton through my photography, I approach everything with dedication and and attention to detail.

I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Before I made real estate my full-time focus, I explored a little bit of everything from flipping cars, trading stocks, running a jewelry business, and even writing a book while I was in college. I continue to trade, do photography, and work on my business ventures but my main goals are around real estate, building my portfolio, and cultivating Golden Homes into a luxury name worldwide. Every venture taught me something valuable, but real estate is where I found my true calling. Now, with over 30 years of combined experience on my team, we’ve built Golden Homes Hilton Head Island into a trusted name in Lowcountry real estate. Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial decisions you’ll ever make, and I don’t take that lightly. I’m relentless when it comes to negotiation, due diligence, and ensuring my clients get the best deal possible. Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer, a seasoned investor, or someone looking for the perfect vacation home, I’ll be there every step of the way. My goal isn’t just to close deals—it’s to build lifelong relationships and make sure you feel confident and excited about your purchase.

My love for Hilton Head and Bluffton goes beyond real estate. I capture the beauty of the area through my photography, which you can find at choldenphotos.com. To me, real estate is more than numbers and contracts—it’s about finding a place that truly feels like home, and sometimes, that starts with seeing a place in a new light.

Living in the Lowcountry is special—it’s a lifestyle, a state of mind, and something I want to help others experience. Whether you’re looking for a home, an investment property, or just want to learn more about what makes this area so unique, I’d love to connect. Let’s find your perfect piece of Hilton Head Island or Bluffton, and let me show you why so many people fall in love with living on Island Time.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No. It’s never a smooth road no matter what you do in life. These obstacles you come across in the moment may feel like something that will never pass. However, time heals all and the moments of despair are a blessing as they lead us to moments of gratitude and appreciation when we overcome them. Self doubt is a silent killer but if you never give up, you will make it. I have a long way to go as I learn more everyday but that’s what life’s about and having a thirst for knowledge will only lead you to better and better places and opportunities throughout life.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’ve always loved art since I was a kid and am interested in so many different mediums and expressions. My creative side shows in every facet of my life including business and marketing. I love to paint but don’t get to do it enough anymore – This is a goal of mine to do more in 2025. Favorite painters are Dali, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, and Monet.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Yes. Certain things I cannot talk about but expect big things from me in the next 5 years:)
