Today we’d like to introduce you to Marci Stewart
Marci, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started blogging and sharing my travel photos almost 6 years ago, when I saw an opportunity to share my itineraries and favorite photo spots for others to use on their trips. I love researching and planning a trip, and hope fellow travelers can benefit and save time on their trips by using my tips or travel plans.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Getting started was the hardest part. It was intimidating to see the travel accounts with thousands of followers and wonder if anyone would care what I had to say or share. But the growth has been slow and steady and the community is so positive and supportive.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
By day I manage relationships with banks and credit card companies. In between I am always planning a new trip, editing photos, or figuring out new ways to share all the videos and pictures I have.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love living in the Carolinas. The weather is typically warm, plenty of outdoor activities, and there are some awesome cities only a short car ride away: Savannah, Asheville, Greenville and Charleston. It has been especially fun to watch Charlotte change over the last decade.
