Hi Valentina , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
In November, after a medical situation caused me to lose my full-time job, I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue something I truly love. I rented a studio, dedicated time to learning and honing my craft, and began sharing my journey on social media. What started as a challenge turned into an opportunity to build something meaningful and aligned with my passions.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Becoming an entrepreneur is definitely challenging. It requires stepping out of your comfort zone, taking risks, and facing uncertainty. But it’s also incredibly rewarding when you’re building something you’re passionate about. The key is staying resilient and learning from every step of the journey.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a PMU artist, or permanent makeup artist, specializes in enhancing natural beauty through techniques like eyebrow and lip pigmentation. I offer services such as eyebrow and lip micropigmentation , lash lifts, brow lamination, eyelash extensions, and body waxing to help clients feel confident and beautiful
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I view risk-taking as a necessary part of growth and pursuing meaningful goals. A major risk I took was starting my own business after losing my full-time job due to a medical situation. It was a leap into the unknown, but I believed in my passion and ability to succeed. This experience taught me that calculated risks can lead to rewarding outcomes if approached with determination and careful planning.
