Today we’d like to introduce you to Luna Bunny
Hi Luna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Lily and I adopted Luna the bunny in 2021. I wanted to share her adventures with friends and family so I created an Instagram for her (@little.luna.bunny). Soon after posting, I was welcomed into a rabbit community that I never knew existed. She gained hundreds of followers, many of them bunnies just like her. It was amazing to see how many other people enjoyed sharing their pets’ lives online. I recently created a YouTube channel (@littlelunabunny2) for her and I am determined to grow that account as well.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Something I struggle with is comparing myself to other creators. Even though I’m posting as Luna and not myself, it’s difficult not to wish I had a bigger following or more supporters. I try to remind myself that social media is not about the numbers, it’s about the connections you make and how you make others feel.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I post on Luna’s Instagram and YouTube accounts every few weeks with new photos and videos. Her most recent post was about decorating for the holidays.
I’m most proud of the happiness I bring to others. Seeing other people comment on how cute she is or how she reminds them of their own pet at home motivates me to keep creating more uplifting content.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
You are never alone when you have a pet. As negative as social media can be at times, when it’s used correctly, it can also bring amazing benefits, especially when it comes to connecting with like-minded people. However alone you may feel, there are always people (and animals) who understand what you’re going through and who are willing and happy to help.
