Today we’d like to introduce you to Rejoice Blair
Hi ReJoice, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Absolutely! I started my journey in real estate in a way that was both unexpected and perfectly timed. Initially, I was a team assistant for the Jennifer Jones team, handling paperwork, contracts, and managing marketing. It gave me a behind-the-scenes look at the entire process, and I quickly realized how much I enjoyed it. The flexibility of the job allowed me to balance work and family life, especially as a mom to two amazing kids, including my son Judah, who has special needs.
What really pushed me forward was my passion for helping families, particularly those like mine who navigate unique challenges. I love showing people that owning a home is achievable, and I aim to be a resourceful, relatable guide through what can be a stressful process. Over time, I honed my skills in social media, creating engaging content, and educating first-time sellers and buyers.
Now, as a REALTOR® in Greenville, SC, my focus is on serving families, especially those relocating, needing more space or selling for the first time, and making sure they feel empowered every step of the way. My journey has been a mix of learning, connecting, and finding joy in helping others realize their homeownership dreams.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I wouldn’t trade the journey for anything. Moving markets from Tennessee to South Carolina came with its own set of challenges. Rebuilding my business from scratch in a new state hasn’t been easy, especially when i’m re-learning a completely different market. It’s taking me time to build connections, get familiar with the landscape again, and establish a presence.
On top of that, juggling family life with two kids, one of whom has special needs, has added a layer of complexity. My oldest son requires extra attention and care, which means balancing work with all the things as I navigate the mom life.
Through it all, I’ve found ways to grow my business while making sure my family gets the care they need. It hasn’t been easy, but the rewards of helping families in their real estate journey and being there for my own family make it all worth it.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business is all about guiding families through one of the most important decisions of their lives—buying or selling a home. I specialize in residential real estate, with a focus on serving first-time sellers, growing families, and especially families with special needs children. What sets me apart is my personal experience and understanding as a mom of two, one of whom has special needs. I’m known for providing flexibility, empathy, and personalized service that caters to each family’s unique situation.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the joy and trust my clients feel throughout the process. My goal is to be that fun, relatable guide who walks families through every step with humor and understanding. I want readers to know that I’m here to make real estate not only accessible but also enjoyable. Whether it’s virtual home tours, market evaluations, or just being a helpful resource, my offerings are tailored to meet the needs of busy families navigating life transitions. It’s all about creating a seamless, informed, and enjoyable experience, no matter where you’re starting from!
How do you think about luck?
When I reflect on my life and business journey, I don’t see it as luck. I truly believe I’ve been blessed every step of the way. There’s a purpose behind the path I’ve taken, and nothing has been left to chance. I fell into this industry by accident, but it turned out to be something I truly enjoy. This opportunity aligned with my skills and gave me flexibility to balance work with my role as a mom.
I’m blessed to have found a career that not only allows me flexibility but also lets me connect with people and help them during important transitions in their lives. While there have been tough moments, I view those challenges as opportunities for growth. God has placed me exactly where I’m meant to be, and every twist and turn has shaped me into who I am today.
So no, I wouldn’t call it luck. I’m blessed—blessed to have the strength to keep moving forward, the support system around me, and the faith to trust in God’s timing.
