Eight years ago, I embarked on a thrilling journey as a travel agent with Discover the Magic Vacations, marking the start of a career that has been nothing short of amazing. Over the years, my passion for travel led me to expand my horizons into travel and lifestyle content creation. Balancing these two roles has been a rewarding challenge, and my dedication has opened doors to numerous incredible opportunities. Today, I’m grateful for the experiences and connections I’ve made, and I’m excited to continue pursuing both careers with the same enthusiasm and commitment that started it all.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Becoming a travel agent came with its fair share of challenges, especially when it came to figuring out how to market myself effectively. While it would be great to say that it all became second nature, I’m still learning and evolving in finding the best ways to promote my services and create content that resonates with my audience. The journey wasn’t without its doubters, but overcoming skepticism only fueled my determination to succeed. Despite the hurdles, I wouldn’t change this path for anything. Every struggle has taught me valuable lessons, and each step forward has only reinforced my passion for this dream.

I absolutely love planning, organizing, and booking incredible vacation destinations for families. While I work with a variety of travel options, I specialize in cruises, Disney, Universal, and all-inclusive resorts. It fills me with pride to have clients who return year after year, allowing me to craft special trips that create lasting memories for them. On the content creation side, I’m passionate about sharing these amazing experiences with my viewers, showcasing the best destinations and activities for family adventures. The opportunities and collaborations I’ve had so far are truly fulfilling, and I’m excited to continue bringing both exceptional travel experiences and engaging content to my audience.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Networking and marketing as a travel agent go hand in hand in growing your business and expanding your reach. Start by actively participating in industry events, conferences, and webinars to build relationships with other professionals and getting all the knowledge you can for your future clients. Utilize social media platforms to share engaging content, showcase your expertise, and interact with your audience. Don’t forget to join local community groups and online forums to connect with people who might need your services.
