Community Highlights: Meet Erin Hanhauser of Ever Haus Properties, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Hanhauser

Hi Erin, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey into real estate began right after college when I worked for a real estate closing attorney. This experience laid a strong foundation for my career. I then joined Daniel Island Real Estate, where I further honed my skills in residential home sales and development.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I entered the real estate business in 2007 and then within a year, the global financial crisis began. This challenging period provided me with a unique advantage, as I learned how to sell real estate and negotiate short sales simultaneously.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Ever Haus Properties, LLC?
Erin worked as a real estate sales associate for 17 years. In November 2023, she earned her broker’s license and in January 2024, she opened Ever Haus Properties, LLC, a full-service residential and commercial brokerage firm dedicated to providing its clients with an unparalleled real estate experience. Erin is joined by two full-time agents at the firm.

Hanhauser brings nearly 20 years of experience and a wealth of knowledge about the Charleston market to her role. She holds several industry designations, including Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Short Sale Foreclosure Resource (SFR), Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), and is recognized as an East Cooper Top Producer in the Charleston area.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
When people express an interest in entering the real estate industry and seek my advice, I always recommend starting by working as an associate for an experienced realtor or mentor. This allows them to gain invaluable knowledge and practical experience, which are crucial in this business. It’s essential to hone their skills thoroughly before venturing out on their own.
