Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I came to the U.S.A in 2001 and started doing nails in 2004. I got my first nail salon when we bought Color Nails on Dorchester Rd. in December 2016. At that time, the salon only had 2 technicians. With the effort and dedication of myself, my loving wife, and our family, the salon grew to 7 technicians and achieved good income.
At the beginning of 2020, we decided to take on a new challenge and opened Sky’s Nails in Goose Creek. It had a larger space but started with only 3 technicians. With the belief of always putting customers first, we focused on providing excellent service, maintaining cleanliness, and doing our very best so that customers would be satisfied,not only with beautiful, vibrant nails but also with the relaxing pedicure experiences they desired.
With the companionship of our talented, passionate, and creative nail technicians and the kind support and love from our customers.The salon has achieved great results. Now, we have 18 technicians.
My greatest blessing is having met and worked with such caring technicians, and that is one of the main reasons for our success.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road to success is never completely smooth. Along the way, we have faced challenges, but none too great to overcome. With perseverance, dedication, and hard work, we believe that everything will turn out well.
