Meet Amanda Salvary

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Salvary.

Hi Amanda, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
My love for both the beauty industry and writing has always been with me from a tender age.

I drew closer to them after being gang raped at the age of 16. I needed an outlet to express myself and also create a safe haven for other women struggling with self-esteem and self-love due to traumatic experiences.

That is where “Beauty Unleashed” originated. I wrote Unleashed Action Planner once I figured out what my gift was and that having goals and a plan was essential to success.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Building a clientele wasn’t always easy but once I perfected my craft, gaining new clients became a breeze.

As far as writing is concerned, the footwork was a bit challenging; getting people to know me and trying not to get lost in the great big world of books.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
So I’m a Registered Licensed Cosmetologist, specializing in Knotless Braids and Silk Press.

I’m known for my signature braiding parts and for my flawless silk press. I’m a Motivational Speaker and Author of Unleashed Action Planner. I’m most proud of my will to succeed.

Despite all the adversities I’ve endured, I’m determined to achieve all the goals that I’ve set for myself.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My two children, my clients, and my dear friends Tevon Gathers and Torrie Young have been nonstop supporters.

My clients are always getting me to step out of my comfort zone and my friends and children encourage me to keep striving for greatness.
