Life & Work with Tamajshia of Spartanburg

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tamajshia.

Tamajshia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve always loved getting cute—even if it was just to stay home and take pics! In 2019, I started posting more consistently, and my boyfriend and I launched a YouTube channel doing pranks, challenges, and fun content together. In 2022, I took my love for all things beauty a step further and enrolled in esthetics school to become an esthetician—because obviously, beauty is my thing lol. I’ve taken some time to figure life out, but my story isn’t over… I’m just getting started and so excited for what’s next!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course not lol—it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. There’ve been plenty of bumps, like struggling to stay consistent or feeling discouraged at times, especially when things weren’t moving how I hoped. But through it all, I’ve learned to stay humble, present, and positive. I truly believe everything happens for a reason, and no matter what, things will always work out exactly how they’re meant to.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a licensed esthetician, although I’ve recently taken a step back to pause, reflect, and brainstorm my next moves. I’m mostly known for lashing and full body waxing—those are definitely my specialties! What I’m most proud of is how far I’ve come and the direction I’m headed. I’m a mom, and my daughter and family mean everything to me—I take so much pride in that.

What sets me apart? I truly pour my heart into everything I do. I create a space where clients feel seen, cared for, and comfortable. It’s more than just beauty services—it’s the energy, the experience, and the genuine connection I offer that make it special.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My biggest advice for anyone just starting out is this: no matter what, always focus on you. Even if you have to pause and restart a few times, that’s okay—your journey is your own. Don’t worry about what others say or think, because everyone’s path is different and unfolds in its own way. And don’t be afraid to dip your hands in multiple creative baskets! Explore, try new things, and let your passion guide you. You never know what doors it’ll open!
