Hi Jackie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Music became a very important part of my life at an early age an impacted my life in a huge way. It has been a friend and a support throughout my life. As a teenager I gained experience as a church pianist, enjoyed talent competitions, recitals, concerts, theatre, and so much more! I began teaching and coaching students over 30 years ago and my love for what I do continues to grow.
Lexington became my home just over 11 years ago and Jackie Ennis Piano Studio opened and began growing! While enjoying all that Lexington offers, I have also had the joy in my profession of getting to watch children, teenagers, and adults of all ages become confident musicians and pursue their own dreams!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Lexington has been a great town to open Jackie Ennis Piano Studio. There is an amazing interest in extracurricular activities and focus on education for students. Adults are also eager to continue or begin lessons.
COVID was a challenge as it was necessary to learn how to teach online lessons. However, we did this effectively and saw a lot of growth during this time.

Jackie Ennis Piano Studio began with an emphasis in piano lessons. Later it expanded to voice lessons and musical theatre. We also collaborate with local teachers who offer guitar and other instruments.
