Exploring Life & Business with Desiree Green of In Ink Mobile Notary Co

Today we’d like to introduce you to Desiree Green.

Hi Desiree, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I wasn’t always the type with an entrepreneurial spirit. For a long time, I valued the security of having a job—knowing that every two weeks I’d get a paycheck. That felt safe and predictable.
Things shifted when I went into business with my kids’ dad doing TV mounting and assembly work. After experiencing how quickly we could earn money compared to waiting on a paycheck, something clicked for me. I realized that I didn’t have to limit myself to clocking in and out—I could create opportunities that paid me for my skills and time on my own terms.
That was the spark that led me to branch out and build businesses of my own. From offering notary and tax preparation services to helping families secure financial protection through life insurance, I’ve learned that entrepreneurship is about more than making money—it’s about creating freedom, impact, and options for myself and my family.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been easy. I’ve lost loved ones and faced challenges that tested me, juggled jobs but those experiences pushed me to grow and step fully into entrepreneurship.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business is all about service, solutions, and trust. I specialize in notary work, tax preparation, and life insurance, which allows me to help people in some of the most important areas of their lives—protecting their families, securing their financial futures, and handling critical documents with care.
What sets me apart is my personal touch. I don’t just provide a service; I make sure my clients feel seen, understood, and taken care of. Whether it’s helping someone navigate their taxes with confidence, ensuring a signing goes smoothly, or providing peace of mind through life insurance, I treat every client like family.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud that I’ve built a reputation for being reliable, approachable, and professional. My goal is for people to know that when they come to me, they’re not just getting a service—they’re getting someone who genuinely cares about their needs and outcomes

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Yes! A couple of resources that have really helped me are Go Pro by Eric Worre, which gave me practical strategies and a success mindset for business, and All About Love by Bell Hooks, which has impacted the way I approach life, relationships, and even the way I connect with clients. I also enjoy the Full Transparency podcast by Donni Wiggins—it’s honest, motivating, and gives real insight into the entrepreneurial journey. Together, these resources keep me grounded, inspired, and focused on growth.
