Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Javis.
Hi Christopher, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
From Christopher Javis to J. Chris the barber. My journey as a barber started at the hands of my parents both neighborhood hair care givers. Both cared for friends and family to ensure parents and kids looked their best to feel their best and do their best. That was many of the work ethics my parents and grandparents instilled in me as entrepreneur themselves. Growing up among entrepreneurs fueled me to become a entrepreneur and educate other on entrepreneurship. On my road to ownership I worked and studied under other owner in S. C., N. C., G. A., FLA., and N. Y. I had to learn that business building takes compassion for community, employees, and steady growth. As a entrepreneur you must constantly reinvent yourself and/or your business. I have worked extremely long and hard hours to develop a system for private contractors to be able to earn a living that would make their families operate efficiently in a ever changing economy. The development of people is my passion and watching them grow is my reward. I plan to open more shops and create many entrepreneurs.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My greatest obstacles and challenges have been developing and finding private contractors who have vision or could see my vision for each of them.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a barber and barber shop owner it was important for me to first learn all laws surrounding the profession as a state board member. As well as a instructor. This allowed me to insure that my business properly cared for the community.
How do you define success?
Success for me is commitment and dedication. Having a foundation built on these two things, you can build any Successful business or people for a business.
