Today we’d like to introduce you to Shana Middleton.
Hi Shana, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey began with simple curiosity. I started researching natural ingredients to soothe my scalp and created a few homemade blends. That sparked a deeper interest, and soon I was exploring products for the skin. Out of that passion, I launched my very first skincare line, Shana’s Natural Creations. Wanting to take my craft to the next level, I enrolled in esthetics school—and that’s where I truly fell in love with facials. From that moment on, skincare became not just a passion, but my profession. Enchanted Spa was born.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road definitely hasn’t been without challenges. Financially, being an entrepreneur and a solo esthetician means every decision and investment rests on my shoulders. At the same time, I’m still working a full-time job, so finding the balance to give my business the attention it deserves can be difficult. Even with those struggles, my business has remained steady, and that consistency is what keeps me going. Every late night, every sacrifice, and every obstacle has been worth it because I know I’m building something that reflects my passion and purpose.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Facials are my specialty, and they’re what I’m most known for. I love helping people reach their skincare goals, and I also offer waxing services to provide a complete experience for my clients. I’m proud to have been in business for almost five years, and earning my instructor’s license has been another milestone that will allow me to expand my brand and share my knowledge with others in the industry.
What sets me apart is my approach to client education. I don’t just tell my clients what to do—I take the time to explain why. Whether it’s skincare routines, product choices, or treatment plans, I want them to truly understand how to care for their skin. That personal touch and commitment to education is what keeps my clients coming back and helps them feel empowered in their own skincare journey.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My clients deserve so much of the credit. They don’t just book appointments—they show up consistently, recommend me to others, and share their results with pride. The fact that most of my new clients come through word of mouth is a constant reminder that the work I’m doing is meaningful. Their support motivates me, pushes me, and reassures me that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
And then there’s my family, who have been in my corner since the very beginning. My two boys, in particular, are my biggest cheerleaders. They’ll often tell me how proud they are of me, and hearing that from them makes every challenge and sacrifice worth it. They remind me why I work so hard and keep me grounded in my purpose.
